Manuki Design was formed in 2001 by graphic artist Eric 'Otis' Singletary. In the past 10+ years he has created designs for web, print and apparel for many Seattle area businesses, bands and more.
In 2007, Otis began writing and publishing the comic book series "The Two Percent Solution" with co-writer Nate Murphy and artist Ryan Hobson. Besides writing the comic, Otis also designs the layouts and handles the lettering and "sound effects" for the title.
In 2010, Otis began writing an ongoing comic strip called "The Unlovables" for the internationally distributed Scoot! Magazine. In March of 2011 "The Unlovables" was also set up as a web comic.
Also, in early 2011, Otis began creating a series of digital portrait illustrations that are printed onto 14" x 14" stretched canvases. In April of that year, he launched www.supremebeingsdesign.com where he now sells these personalized creations in two different formats.
Otis' interests include vintage Vespa scooters, movies, music, comic books, snowboarding, video games, disc golf, Texas Hold 'Em poker and blogging.
He currently lives in Seattle, WA with his lovely wife Kari and their pug Leeloo Petunia Pugglesworth.
